There is a position available for immediate filling. This full‐time appointment (76 hours per fortnight) is offered on a fixed‐term basis, with the possibility of extension and permanency.
Position: Clinical Nurse Manager – Carnarvon – Midwest.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership experience and advanced clinical practice in diverse environments relevant to the role.
* Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment and the ability to lead, develop and manage a team.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of human resource management principles and practice.
* Demonstrated knowledge and incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
* Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Work Health and Safety, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery.
Position Profile
Provides management and clinical leadership within the general ward and renal unit to ensure safe, effective and efficient service provision. Provides support to the Coordinator of Nursing & Midwifery in developing and implementing goals for service provision, including human and material resource management, safety and quality agenda and governance processes. Mentors, manages and performance develops staff under direct supervision.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
