The Organisation:
Our client is a well-known public practice firm with 11 offices spanning multiple states across Australia. Offering their clients a 'one-stop shop' service hub, their solutions include Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Planning, Marketing, Legal Support & more.
The Position:
Based in the Toowoomba office, this role will be tailored to your experience at either the Intermediate or Senior level but will include:
* Document preparation, data entry, & team correspondence
* Management of client records in line with privacy and compliance requirements (e.g. ATO guidelines)
* Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
* Assisting or leading in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
* Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
* Providing tax planning and general business advice to clientele
Skills and Experience:
* A degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
* 2+ years experience in public practice
* Completed, undertaking or planning to undertake CPA/CA
* Knowledge of Xero, MYOB & Quickbooks preferred
* A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
