Job Description
* Develop and execute the organisation's data and analytics strategy in alignment with business goals.
* Lead and inspire a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver cutting‐edge solutions.
* Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to provide actionable insights.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to identify opportunities for data‐driven improvements.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
* Drive innovation by exploring and implementing emerging technologies in the data and analytics space.
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve departmental objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful General Manager / Head of Data & Analytics should have:
* Proven leadership experience in data and analytics within the technology or telecoms industry.
* Significant leadership experience in management consulting, ideally at Partner, Director or Principal level.
* Strong expertise in data strategy, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies.
* Exceptional ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
* Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring high‐performing teams.
* Comprehensive understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in data science, analytics, or a related field.
