About the role
As a Systems Engineer at Babcock, you'll play a key role in supporting the design, delivery, acceptance and sustainment of the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System.
Working across the engineering lifecycle, you'll apply systems engineering principles to investigate technical issues, develop practical solutions and contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and compliant outcomes for complex Defence capability programmes.
You'll contribute to technical investigations, engineering documentation, risk assessments and formal customer reviews, while ensuring activities are delivered to time, cost and quality expectations.
Alongside developing your own expertise, you'll also support knowledge sharing and mentoring across the wider engineering team, helping drive continuous improvement and operational capability across the business.

Experience working within regulated or Defence environments will be highly regarded, along with an understanding of engineering standards, technical governance and product lifecycle support.
