The Opportunity
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Murray Vale in our Riverina Murray Region.A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to perform cooking and kitchen duties.
We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of cooking and food service within the facility.
What you will bring to the role:
Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals
Experience in table service and clearing duties
Experience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and or bulk food preparation – desirable
Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
Experience in Aged Care desirable
Current First Aid Certificate desirable
Excellent communication skills
Team player who is highly motivated
Availability to work various shifts across various days
