Our client is a multi-disciplinary company that specialise in Planning, Engineering, Project Management, and Surveying. An oragnisation that has been in operation for over 30 years, they are passionate about development and value partnership to guide and build the way they work.
Due to strong performance and increased sales our client is looking for several proactive and dedicated Draftspersons for the construction of quality homes on time, within budget, and to contractual arrangements within the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Regions. **The Opportunity**
Our client is looking for Draftspersons with 4 to 5 + years of experience to join their company at their Tuggerah or Warners Bay offices. You will be responsible for the Production of D.A. submission drawings while ensuring conformance with necessary guidelines and Council D.C.Ps. You will be involved in the preparation of construction level drawings including supporting necessary variations. This person will also be liaising with supervisors, suppliers, and sub-contractors while keeping aligned with the company processes and systems. With the wide variety of land development projects that our client is involved with, there will be an opportunity to prepare many types of plans related to engineering (civil, structural, water, and sewer), planning, and surveying.
**About you**:
The successful applicants must have:
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant design or drafting experience, preferably in heavy industry.
- Experience with current 3D CAD software - (Autodesk Inventor or Rhino preferred)
- Able to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a competent draftsperson
- Familiarity with development Control Plans and the NSW Complying Development Code
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Able to work within a team environment
