Job Title: HR Generalist
This is a part-time role at 0.6 FTE with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Parklands Christian College is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to lead the College's people and compliance functions.
The successful applicant will be responsible for handling all tasks from recruitment to offboarding, including providing quality induction processes.
* Handling all tasks from recruitment to offboarding, including providing quality induction processes
* Offering assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development, and people management
* Working with the Facilities Manager to offer proactive injury management support, including Workcover claims
* Overseeing and improving administrative and compliance systems that support workplace and industrial relations tasks within the College
Requirements:
The following skills and qualifications are required:
* A Human Resource qualification and/or proven skills in similar roles, preferably in a school setting
* Working knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforce
* Sound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practices
* Strong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry, and document processing capabilities
* Championing of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery
* An ability to develop effective, collaborative relationships with College stakeholders
* Active Christian Faith
* Positive Blue Card
