About the Role
Due to continued growth and project wins, we are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our business development and client engagement strategy across our electrical HV construction and maintenance portfolio.
This is a key leadership role responsible for generating new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the successful delivery of major electrical projects. The size of projects you will be generating leads on range in value from $10,000 to $10 million.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a sales and growth strategy targeting HV/MV electrical construction projects.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across utilities, renewables, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
* Ensure monthly sales targets are achieved.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
* Manage the full sales lifecycle including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
* Collaborate closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure competitive and accurate project bids.
* Track pipeline performance and report on sales metrics and revenue targets.
* Represent the business at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
About You
* Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager, within HV electrical construction projects.
* Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems and project delivery environments.
* Existing network within Queensland utilities, contractors, or industrial clients (highly regarded).
* Demonstrated ability to win work and grow client portfolios.
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Electrical trade, engineering background, or industry experience preferred.
