As the Key Account Manager you will work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies relevant to your region.
Position key responsibilities, but not limited to:
* Provide direct technical support to other company representatives, resellers or distributors.
* Account management of existing customers through direct engagement on a regular basis.
* Conduct technical sales while providing application advice, product expertise, on‐site inspections and customer service and development.
* Arrange and attend trade shows, exhibitions and training seminars.
* Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement the region's sales and marketing strategy.
* Service and implement products, providing support to partners, customers and contractors on installations and services.
* Responsible for development and management of the domestic distributor and reseller network in a designated territory.
* Identify new customers in target markets (business development).
* Determine equipment failure modes and diagnose to provide advice to customers.
* Conduct static and dynamic inspections on large capital equipment, particularly ball & SAG mills, and open gear systems.
* Complete basic service and support of centralised automatic lubrication systems.
* Complete lubrication surveys and audits and conduct oil sampling as required.
* Work effectively within a team environment, including adherence to company values, ISO requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
* Undertake other duties as required from time to time.
About you:
* Knowledge and experience in Level 1 Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA1) mechanical/fitting, preferable.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of lubrications, mining and associated equipment.
* Ability to prioritise and schedule time and travel intrastate, providing on‐site support to customers in the WA region is essential.
* Strong technical knowledge and hands‐on experience in lubrication equipment, condition monitoring, oil analysis and interpretation.
* Sound mechanical aptitude and plant operational knowledge.
* Ability to build meaningful and reliable relationships with clients, colleagues and distributors.
* A solid understanding of estimating and quoting.
* Passion for negotiating successful outcomes, strong communication and analytical skills.
* Unwavering commitment to safety, good business ethics, business improvement and achieving results.
* Willingness to travel interstate as required.
