We're looking for a hands‐on HR professional who thrives in fast‐paced environments. This role is operational, dynamic, and deeply embedded in the business – perfect for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves and making an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
* Partner closely with leaders to deliver practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
* Lead and manage complex Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters, including investigations, grievances, PIPs, restructures, and EBA‐related work.
* Drive organisational and job design initiatives, capability planning, and workforce planning.
* Coach leaders to build confidence, capability, and high‐performing teams.
* Support change‐management projects and culture initiatives.
* Analyse HR data and provide insights to support decision‐making.
* Facilitate presentations, employee sessions and engagement activities.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives and specialist HR/IR providers.
Qualifications
* Degree in HR or related discipline (or extensive relevant experience).
* Strong generalist HR background in a medium‐size organisation.
* Proven experience managing complex ER/IR issues in unionised environments.
* Experience with job design, evaluations, and change‐management programmes.
* Knowledge of Korn Ferry job evaluation or similar frameworks.
* Ability to develop people strategies aligned to business needs.
* Confident facilitator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
* Performance‐driven, resilient, and able to work autonomously without administrative support.
