Design & Engineering
CPP has the largest in‑house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 190 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end‑to‑end engineering solutions for high‑voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia’s renewable energy transition.
Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real‑world feedback.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - SCADA to join our Western Australia Engineering team, delivering high‑quality SCADA designs for high‑voltage substations and associated power system equipment.
Based within our established West Leederville office, you will work closely with a highly experienced group of SCADA engineers, designing and configuring SCADA systems for some of Australia’s landmark renewable energy and utility projects.
This role is predominantly design‑focused, with hands‑on involvement in system configuration and testing across our project sites. You will be responsible for developing designs that comply with client and industry standards, as well as providing technical input and support during tender preparation.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
* Turnkey project expertise in high voltage substation design from concept to commissioning including knowledge of industry and different client standards
* Experience in specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment
* Working knowledge of different SCADA and Communications products used on substation projects
* Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
