About the Role: As a Web Officer, you will support schools to create and maintain high-quality, accessible, and user-friendly web content.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support and advice to Queensland State Schools on web publishing principles and processes.
Liaise with schools to ensure web content complies with government accessibility standards, is well structured, accurate and styled, and adheres to the department's web publishing guidelines.
Provide advice and guidance regarding content best practice, information architecture, content creation, usability and accessibility.
Develop support material to help schools publish web content.
Build positive relationships with internal and external clients to ensure quality outcomes.
About You
A background in web content and a good understanding of HTML.
Experience with content management systems and web governance.
Ability to ensure web content meets industry standards and guidelines relating to best practice.
Experience with SharePoint (on-prem and SharePoint Online).
Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow multiple processes.
