My client has spent the last 10+ years building their name within Western Australia's civil construction industry, and is well known for the quality of work they provide within their market. With a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across Western Australia, and continued growth, they are in the hunt for a Contracts Administrator to join their team.
About the role:
As the Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for the effective management of contracts from procurement to close-out, and coordinating with design, buying, quantity surveying and project managers.
Working on site with the project team, you need to be a forward thinking individual with high attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Undertake consultation with stakeholders to determine and document any factors that may affect the procurement process.
2. Maintain records and provide reports on the procurement process.
3. Identify legislation, public sector standards and organizational
requirements relating to probity, financial management, approvals and
other considerations for inclusion in the contract management plan.
4. Identify commercial, probity and procurement risks relating to the
procurement activity.
5. Monitor performance of contract against key performance indicators and tracking milestones, to ensure obligations under the agreement are being met
6. Preparation and submission of variation orders & contractual notices
7. Project cost reporting and forecasting
8. Ability to interrogate contractual claims and variations;
