Rise Training is a new and exciting initiative that empowers people with disabilities in a work environment. We are expanding our program to support more individuals.
This role plays a vital part in supporting people with disabilities to successfully undertake a work-based training program that provides a pathway to award wage employment.
Our participants will have the opportunity to gain practical skills, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation for future employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve agreed outcomes and deliver exceptional results.
* Facilitate the training of participants in essential employability skills, enabling them to succeed in the workforce.
* Support participants to meet business targets assigned to each team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Develop a strong working relationship and mentor individuals supported at work, fostering growth and development.
* Provide personal care, mealtime assistance, and behavioral management to ensure participants feel supported and empowered.
* Deliver administration or reporting activities in line with NDIS standards, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
* Promote and model appropriate behavior to support Rise's culture, performance, and brand, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
About You
* A genuine passion for and experience working with people with disability, with a focus on empowerment and inclusion.
* Energetic and creative approaches, with a proactive attitude to helping others achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Strong initiative, multitasking ability, and attention to detail, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
* Auslan experience (specific to one role), highlighting a commitment to cultural sensitivity and awareness.
* An empathetic and patient approach, understanding the needs of participants and adapting to individual circumstances.
* At least 1 year of experience in education/training, allied health, or disability industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
