We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Program/Project Change Controller/Manager to take ownership of the change control within the Project or Program Area.
Responsibilities
* Manage change control to the relevant Project or Program, including tracking, reporting and analysis of variations and emerging trends.
* Work within the newly established Change Control Team as part of the wider Project Controls Function, assisting in embedding newly formed Change processes and procedures.
* Provide strategic insights to the client by identifying key risks, opportunities and impacts arising from change activity.
* Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the program lifecycle.
* Assess all program change/variation requests, ensuring timely and robust impact assessments across cost, schedule and risk are completed by the relevant project teams.
* Develop internal capability through training, coaching and recruitment of subject matter experts.
* Collaborate closely with Project Control Leads, Cost Controllers, Planners, Project Directors, Sponsors, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
* Support the delivery of programme controls maturity and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
* Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain (or currently hold) an Australian Baseline Security Clearance or be a UK Citizen with current UK clearance.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across PMO and delivery teams.
* Comprehensive understanding of change control, cost planning, scheduling and risk management principles.
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
* Familiarity with project control systems such as Contruent (formerly Prism) is highly desirable.
* A relevant degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management or similar.
* Professional qualifications such as P30, Prince 2, MSP, APM PMQ, PPQ, CHPPM or equivalent.
* Experience with P3M frameworks and IT solutions for programme controls.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
* A collaborative mindset and a passion for building capability and driving continuous improvement.
