Job Summary:
In this position, you will work with the project team to lead a team to manage the entire set of planning activities for assigned projects. You will identify schedule trends, analyze data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges, ensure schedule updates are completed on time, and be responsible for reporting requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving scheduling efficiency and project success.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in‐person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‐person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-AF1
Major Responsibilities:
* Manages planning activities for a significant area within a project, including Level 3 and Level 4 schedules
* Identifies schedule trends for management attention
* Analyzes data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges
* Ensures schedule updates are completed in time to support project reporting requirements
* Supports project organizational and administrative activities
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Proficiency in using PC operating systems and multidisciplinary software applications (Primavera P6, Microsoft applications).
* Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
* Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
* Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start‐up work processes, as performed by Bechtel.
* Knowledge of current industry and technical developments.
