About the Role
We currently have Permanent Part-time Domestic Support Worker positions available to service clients across the Eight Mile Plains region. The overall purpose of the role is to provide domestic assistance supports to clients, including cleaning, unassisted shopping and preparing meals, along with community access supports such as transport, social support individual and group services and meal deliveries in order to support clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes.
Depending on your residential location the suburbs of travel may include: Acacia Ridge, Archerfield, Eight Mile Plains, Macgregor, Sunnybank, Sunnybank Hills, Chelmer, Corinda, Darra, Graceville, Jamboree Heights, Jindalee, Middle Park, Mount Ommaney, Oxley, Riverhills, Seventeen Mile Rocks, Sherwood, Sinnamon Park, Sumner, Tennyson, Westlake, Cannon Hill, Carina, Carina Heights, Carindale, Murarrie, Dutton Park, Fairfield, Fairfield Gardens, Highgate Hill, South Brisbane, West End, Yeerongpilly, Yeronga.
The pay-rate for the role will range from $32.38 - $35.94/hour depending on your experience.
About You
* Experience in cleaning
* Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
* Able to follow domestic care plans
* Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
* Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
* A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
Requirements
* Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
* A current National Police Certificate OR Paid NDIS/Yellow Card
