Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter needed to produce quality hose assemblies, ensure safety, and support warehouse operations in Mackay.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and test hose assemblies to Australian Standards.
* Perform workshop duties including works orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks.
* Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Operate forklift and conduct basic non‐trades maintenance within the warehouse.
* Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries.
* Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment.
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices.
* Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys.
* Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely.
