Barminco hassuccessfullytendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia's Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia's highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.
This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than80% of the site's power requirements through renewable energy sources.
As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Jumbo Operators to join the team on a full-time basis, working a7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe,productiveand efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.
Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Operate Sandvik underground jumbo drill rigs to accurately drill development headings
Read and follow drill plans,mark-ups, and ground support requirements
Install ground support such as bolts, mesh, andother products as required
Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on drilling equipment
Maintain safe, clean, and productive work areas in active headings
Work closely with supervisors and other crews to meet development schedules
* Previous experience working as aJumbo Operator
Experience operating Sandvik 422i series is highly regarded
Extensive experience working in underground mining
Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards
Ability tolead, coach and mentor both experiencedand new to industry operators
All valid and relevant qualifications,certificatesand licences (RPL's)
Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
