About the Role
We're seeking a talented and motivated Oral Health Therapist (OHT)/Hygienist who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine passion for orthodontic care to join our team. Working closely with and supporting our Orthodontist, you'll also have opportunities to work independently when the Doctor is offsite. This role offers variety, growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives.
Requirements
* A qualification as an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist, with registration through AHPRA.
* At least 12 months of experience in private practice (orthodontic experience is essential).
* Confidence to work autonomously if doctor is off site.
* A strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and initiative.
* Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
* A willingness to learn and embrace modern technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing patients for braces‐on and braces‐off appointments.
* Removing braces and appliances.
* Conducting 3D scans.
* Issuing aligners and bonding attachments.
* Adjustments and patient education.
* Reviewing patients and reporting to the Orthodontist.
* Working independently when required.
