Remuneration: $145,056.42 - $147,952.34 plus superannuation

Location: Broken Hill, NSW
Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical advice, organisation, leadership and consultancy services within nursing specialty across multiple service groups, target populations and health care professionals, delivering high quality stroke, rehabilitation and falls prevention and management services.
* Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, consumers and partners within the Far West Local Health District and NSW Health.
* Lead quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
* Identify education needs and develop education plans and resource material for patients, clients and healthcare professionals.
* Commit to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary within $145,056.42 – $147,952.34 plus superannuation.

Qualifications & Experience
* Current Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* At least 5 years full-time equivalent post registration clinical experience, including 3 years in the specialty.
* Postgraduate qualifications relevant to Rehabilitation, Stroke or Cardiovascular Disease.
* Excellent communication, verbal, written, interpersonal and advanced IT skills.
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively independently and as part of multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
* Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in stroke and/or rehabilitation.
* Demonstrated ability to identify education needs and develop education plans.
* Commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees.
* Current licence to drive in NSW for work purposes.
