About the Role
We are seeking a
Junior Façade Engineer
to join our
Adelaide
team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their structural engineering career who is passionate about architecture, materials, and the science behind building façades.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking the design, engineering and documentation for façade and build-ability consultancy inclusive of detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings, and specifications.
Reviewing contractor submissions, show drawings and calculations.
Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.
Preparing tender submissions.
Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.
Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry.
What do we need from you
A degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
1-3 years of experience as a structural engineer.
A passion and appetite for learning, collaboration, and the real-world application of creative solutions
An appreciation and strong interest in structural engineering and facade design.
Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and grow within a dynamic consultancy environment.
