Commissioning Lead
This is a challenging role for an experienced commissioning professional to lead the commissioning function across complex high-voltage installations.
* Coordinate and perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) processes to verify system integrity and functionality.
* Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, test procedures, and completion documentation.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers within the commissioning team.
* Maintain accurate records of test results, defect lists, and status reports.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Substantial commissioning experience in transmission/substation environments.
* Strong working knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, and IEC 61850 protocols.
* Demonstrated expertise in brownfield integration and high-voltage energisation processes.
* A commitment to safety and compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental protocols.
* Able to work autonomously and under pressure in field-based conditions.
* Hold a White Card, C-Class Driver's License, and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
