Are you a passionate individual that could be a positive male role model for the next generation?
Let us connect you to a child in your community who needs a helping hand.
Wesley Youth Mentoring needs kind and compassionate volunteers who can bring connection and fun to disadvantaged young people in your community. Whether it be going to watch or play footy or teaching them how to change a tyre, the connection you build is what matters most!
What’s involved?
Face to face visits once a month at a time that suits both you (the volunteer) and the young person/their family. Volunteers in our program give young people the experience and perks of a stable relationship and a positive adult they can look up to. Together you will do a range of fun activities and easy everyday things that expose the young person to current and different activities that help build confidence, social and life skills.
As a volunteer in this role you would be supported by a dedicated case manager from Wesley Mission.
