**Location: 4 Parramatta Square (agile working environment)**

**Employment type: Ongoing, Fulltime (1 vacancy)**

**Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12, $139,787 to $161,663 p.a. plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

The Principal Upgrade Manager will be responsible for leading and project managing the capital upgrade works funded through the assets capital upgrade budget to ensure standards and expectations are met. Upgrade works primarily involve major common area and infrastructure upgrades, heritage and lift upgrades, fire restoration works and any other similar miscellaneous major upgrade and demolition projects.

**What you’ll do**

Reporting to the Director, Major & Specialised Projects, the Principal Upgrade Manager is responsible for making recommendations, decisions and solutions related to the successful strategic direction, approach, plans, implementation, and maintenance related to upgrade program(s) within the Division in collaboration with the Director. This will involve managing a panel of external consultants and providers within the Major & Specialised Projects unit.

**What we’re looking for**

Essential requirements include:

- Qualifications in Engineering, Architectural, Project/Business Management or related construction discipline.
- Adequate relevant experience including stakeholder management and leadership.
- Current and valid NSW driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel to sites across NSW.

While the Department of Communities and Justice offers a flexible or hybrid working arrangement, regular office and site based work will be required and therefore to be considered for this role you would need to live in NSW or be relocating to NSW.
