About Process Engineer Role
Reporting to Quality Manager, you play key role in monitoring process capability, defining critical process parameters and translating customer requirements into process solutions. You will be responsible for problem solving process issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities For This Role Include
* Translate customer needs into product features
* Define process variable specifications, measurement methods and control practices
* Support production trials for new product setups and respond to customer sales enquiries
* Gain exposure to business improvement practices and strategies
* Apply critical thinking and data analysis to solve complex problems collaboratively
* Identify and support day-to-day project improvement activities, prioritise and execute them to enhance efficiency, quality and safety
* Investigate customer complaints and internal quality or safety observations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering
* Proven experience in leading projects from initiation to completion
* Six Sigma knowledge or certification is desirable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Comfortable working across complex environments and organisational structures
* Skilled at managing conflicting priorities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to upskill team members and share knowledge effectively
* Self-starter with proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
