Forklift Operator Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced forklift operator to join our team in Wagga Wagga. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment around the warehouse and production areas.
* Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
* Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment around the warehouse and production areas
* Set up machinery and equipment as required
The ideal candidate will have a current NSW forklift license, recent forklift experience, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. They should also have good communication skills and basic knowledge of OH&S principles.
Responsibilities Include:
* Maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy and organization
* Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or hazards within the workplace
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals
Requirements:
A successful Forklift Operator will possess a high level of physical fitness and be able to lift up to 25kg. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing situations quickly.
