Sunshine Coast Mazda and Noosa Auto Group are looking for an experienced and dedicated Financial Controller or Company Accountant with retail automotive experience to join us on a full-time basis running the administration departments of two medium sized dealerships located at Maroochydore and Noosa.
We are an automotive dealership group, established in 2005 with dealership locations in Maroochydore and Noosa.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Oversee payroll, staff entitlements, debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations, deal processing, stock management, and general ledger reconciliations.
* Manage an admin team of 12 staff across two locations.
* Report directly to the dealer principal.
* Produce accurate monthly management accounts.
* Prepare statutory reports and returns.
* Monitor all costs and payments and report on any anomalies.
Experience & Attributes
* Experience in an automotive dealership is preferable.
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or CPA/CA qualification required.
* Ability to plan, direct, monitor, and control the activities of a department.
* Experience with Pentana DMS in a multi-store, multi-franchise environment.
* Familiarity with Unipay Payroll systems.
* Prior experience in HR, Employment Awards, and Industrial Relations.
* Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
* Ability to work effectively with others.
