Job Description
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic team member to join our friendly team at St Stephen's Hospital in Hervey Bay, offering a great opportunity to build experience in a supportive setting with flexible casual shifts from Monday to Friday from 7am to 8pm.
Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, you will provide high quality, medical imaging assistance and support administration services to the clinic.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Driving the delivery of high-quality reception services
* Prepare patients for procedures and examinations as required
* Providing excellent customer service and patient care
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
* Assist technical staff with examinations as directed, including preparation of equipment
* Prepare and maintain exam rooms, including machine start-ups (if required), and ensuring rooms are clean and properly stocked with supplies
* Clean and prepare equipment for patient use
* Assist with ensuring efficient workflow within the department, including oversight of appointments
* Assist with documentation and collating of documents for the patient visits
What We're Looking For
* Ability to cover shifts Monday to Friday between 7am to 8pm as needed.
* Ability to handle patient care with compassion and tact, ensuring the patients privacy, dignity and confidentiality is maintained
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact amiably and effectively
* Ability to function effectively as part of a diagnostic health team
* Good time management and organisational skills
