About the Role


We're looking for a Territory Manager to join our team and service the Central Queensland region, reporting to the Northern Australia Regional Sales Manager.

In this role, you'll:

* Support rural reseller networks and farmers through sales and technical advice
* Develop and execute sales plans
* Manage key relationships with resellers, sheep and cattle farmers, and service organisations
* Provide on-farm consultations and represent Datamars at field days and industry events

This is a remote role requiring regular travel, including some overnight stays. You'll be supplied with a full home office setup.


What We're Looking For


You'll thrive in this role if you:

* Come from a farming background and/or have farming retail sales experience
* Understand solution selling for farming products and smart farming technologies
* Relate well to a broad customer base of farm managers, owners, retail teams, and corporate farms
* Are proactive in spotting opportunities through networking, events, and building strong reseller partnerships
* Enjoy problem-solving and delivering the best product solutions
* Can explain technical information clearly and simply
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills (event experience is a bonus)
* Are computer literate and comfortable using tools like Salesforce CRM

Location: Ideally based in or around Rockhampton, but we're open to other locations within the territory.


What You'll Do Day-to-Day

* Manage a planned call cycle and travel regularly within the region
* Build strong relationships with rural retail accounts and farmers
* Conduct in-store product training and represent Datamars at field days
* Track progress and generate reports using Salesforce CRM
* Work closely with our experienced Regional Sales Manager for coaching and support

* Passion for the agriculture sector, ideally with livestock knowledge
* Territory management and sales experience (knowledge of our product categories is a plus)
* Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow professionally
* Strategic thinking and adaptability
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work autonomously and stay organised
