About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Specialist to deliver comprehensive procurement services across multiple business units and regional teams. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, purchasing, and expediting a wide range of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing:
* Verify shopping carts and robotic purchase orders
* Solicit competitive bids and ensure value for money
* Provide procurement support and manage purchase order changes
Supplier Management:
* Identify and manage preferred suppliers
* Maintain procurement user guides
* Conduct contract performance reviews
Customer Engagement:
* Liaise with manufacturers, contractors, and suppliers
* Provide expert procurement advice
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
System Oversight:
* Ensure accurate data entry in SRM e-procurement and SAP MM
* Monitor purchasing data and recommend system improvements
What You'll Bring
* Extensive procurement experience in a large engineering-focused organisation
* Strong background in supplier/contractor evaluation and e-procurement systems
* Solid understanding of contract management and procurement regulations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
