Veterinary Nurse Assistant | Part-time or Full-time position

Responsibilities:
* Assist veterinary nurses and veterinarians as required
* Monitor and care for hospitalized patients (under the guidance of the ECC team)
* Administer medications as directed by the ECC team
* Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital facilities
* Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion
* Animal cage cleaning and re‐setting, cleaning patient bowls etc.
* Walking, feeding and offering water to patients under nurse instruction
* Restocking disposables (needles, syringes etc) and pharmacy (medication)
* Maintaining cleanliness of hospital areas throughout the day/evening as required, including floors in treatment, ICU and ward spaces
* Daily laundry upkeep

About you:
* Completed or currently enrolled in Cert IV in Vet Nursing, Associate Degree of Vet Nursing or Bachelor's Degree of Vet Nursing
* Previous experience in the animal care industry highly desirable
* Adaptable and enthusiastic
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to handle animals with gentleness and confidence
