* Monday to Friday: $35.15 per hour
* Afternoon Shift: $38.67 per hour
* Active Night Shift: $39.37 per hour
* Saturday: $49.21 per hour
* Sunday: $63.27 per hour
* Public Holiday: $77.33 per hour
About the Role
NEXTT is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and positive Female Disability Support Worker to join a welcoming and client-focused team in Highfields, Toowoomba. This role involves supporting two female participants living in a shared home environment, assisting with daily living activities and helping them achieve their individual goals.
We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and continence support
* Manual handling, including hoist and sling transfers
* Medication assistance
* Postural management and mobility support
* Domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Community access and social engagement
* Supporting daily routines and therapeutic activities
* Encouraging independence and participation in meaningful activities
* Building positive relationships and supporting individual goals
About You
* Female support worker (participant preference)
* Kind, patient, reliable, and positive
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow routines and provide structured support
* Experience with manual handling and hoist transfers is highly regarded
* Confidence supporting participants with complex physical and intellectual disabilities
* Passion for delivering person-centred care
Essential Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Valid Australian Driver Licence
* Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
* Right to work in Australia
