The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating marketing strategies that promote Blu Sky Care's disability support services, strengthen brand recognition, and support organisational growth.
This role ensures alignment with NDIS standards, community engagement priorities and culturally appropriate communication for diverse audiences.
A. Market Research Strategy Conduct research on NDIS sector trends, competitors, participant needs and service demand.
Analyse market data to identify opportunities for service expansion and community engagement.
Develop targeted marketing plans and strategies to support organisational goals.
B. Marketing Planning Campaigns Create and implement marketing campaigns (digital, print, social, community-based).
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with the NDIS service mix.
Plan and manage campaigns promoting support services, recruiting support workers, and engaging participants.
C. Branding Communications Maintain and strengthen Blu Sky Care's brand identity across all platforms.
Produce written content, digital assets, newsletters and community updates.
Develop and produce Easy Read documents and accessible materials for people with disability, using simplified text, icons and visual supports in line with NDIS accessibility standards.
D. Digital Marketing Social Media Manage website updates, social media strategy and online presence.
Create digital content including graphics, short videos, photography and community stories.
Monitor engagement metrics and prepare performance reports.
E. Stakeholder Community Engagement Develop marketing materials for participants, families, support coordinators and community organisations.
Support events, expos, community programs, and initiatives that strengthen multicultural engagement and community participation Liaise with internal teams (Operations, HR, IT) to align messaging and recruitment activities.
F. Reporting Compliance Prepare monthly reports on marketing performance and campaigns.
Ensure all marketing practices comply with NDIS Practice Standards for Information Management and Participant Rights.
Maintain documentation, version control, and audit-ready marketing records.
3. Skills Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, communications or digital media roles.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent.
Experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, data analysis and communication strategies.
Strong understanding of disability sector communication (preferred).
Ability to plan, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns independently.
Knowledge of branding, community engagement and multicultural communication.
4. Reporting Structure Reports to: Managing Director Works closely with: HR, Quality Compliance, Support Workers, Community Engagement team.
Supervises: Not required (consistent with Marketing Specialist classification).
