Senior Community Engagement Leader
We are seeking a senior leader to drive our community engagement initiatives, strengthening connections between services and community groups.
This role involves co-designing services with the community, inviting community voices into our work, and developing strong relationships across services and community groups.
The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, empathetic leader who thrives in collaborative environments. They should bring a genuine curiosity about people and communities, have a natural ability to connect with diverse groups, and understand different perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead community engagement initiatives to foster inclusive, empowering spaces where everyone feels valued.
* Co-design services with the community to ensure they meet their needs and expectations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups and services to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
* Cultivate a culture of empathy and understanding within the organization, ensuring that all staff are equipped to work effectively with diverse communities.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of senior mental health leadership experience, including senior lived experience roles.
* 2+ years of experience in a community engagement/community development role or similar.
