Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Fortescue's Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.Roster: 7 Days 7 Nights 14 Off Ex Perth.Reporting to the Superintendent Mechanical Maintenance, the Supervisor role will oversee the OPF maintenance related activities.
The Supervisor will ensure all Fortescue contractor and subcontractor maintenance personnel are compliant to Fortescue HSE procedures and ensure our OPF is maintained as per OEM recommendations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and prioritize repairs.Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability when needed.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, reports, and logs.Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational goals are met and address any facility-related concerns.Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar roleStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Mechanical Trade QualificationExcellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge in work management and SAP.Understanding of WHS requirements.Schedule 26 CertificationAbout UsBe part of something big.
