Client Executive – Corporate & Commercial

Marsh is seeking candidates for the position of Client Executive. The role is based in Cairns and operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a portfolio of key revenue‐generating accounts while ensuring high‐quality customer service.
2. Develop, pursue and convert current business opportunities.
3. Grow a commercial portfolio through current logo and organic expanded opportunities.
4. Assist with placement of complex insurance programs and new business, providing valuable support to senior brokers and leadership.
5. On‐board new clients and deliver on our value proposition.
6. Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers.
7. Plan and implement effective renewal and broking strategies.
8. Ensure effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients.
9. Actively participate in claim‐related matters.

Qualifications

10. 12 to 18 months of broking experience.
11. Clear and effective communication skills.
12. Ability to work autonomously within a multi‐skilled team.
13. Moderate knowledge of risks and insurance products for key industry sectors.
14. Motivation to self‐start, enhanced by strong time‐management skills.
15. Capability to identify and address issues through innovative thinking.
16. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly.
17. Tier1 Insurance Broking qualifications or higher.
