Role Overview

As a skilled leader in the criminal justice system with a minimum of 6 years of experience, you will manage a large team of six Team Leaders and approximately 70 indirect reports, work under the guidance of the Director Services, Growth & Impact to drive the ongoing development and expansion of services, and nurture a high level of consumer focus and enhance outcomes across the organisation.

Responsibilities

* Manage a large team of six Team Leaders and approximately 70 indirect reports.
* Play a strategic role in the development and expansion of services.
* Work closely with teams to ensure high levels of consumer focus, enhance consumer outcomes, and drive and inspire this thinking.
* Exhibit mastery in leadership and service delivery, with strong strategic thinking and analysis skills.
* Maintain resilience while fostering psychological safety, emotional regulation, and structured debriefing to sustain performance in a complex environment.
* Engage externally, building positive relationships with state and federal governments and other sector bodies.

Full‐time, permanent hybrid role (office & home) with salary range $147,104–$163,606 plus superannuation and salary packaging (up to $15,900 of pre‐tax salary packaging plus additional meal & entertainment expenses). Additional benefits include:

Key Selection Criteria

* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Health or related discipline.
* Postgraduate qualification in Management, Change Management, Human Resources or similar (or willingness to undertake such).
* Minimum six years of experience leading, motivating and supervising staff to work as a team, with ability to manage and resolve conflict and other sensitive matters.
* Highly developed coaching and team development skills, including leading teams through practice change, learning and development.
* Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to prepare written reports and present them.
* Demonstrated capacity to negotiate and work constructively with funding bodies and other stakeholders, and represent the organisation at external forums.
* Excellent time‐management skills and ability to manage multiple complex demands and meet timelines.
* Demonstrated commitment to high‐quality services and a culture of continuous learning.
* Commitment to own professional development and learning.
* Planning and organising – excellent time‐management and organisational skills; ability to work under pressure.
* Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
* Willingness to undertake relevant pre‐employment screening and checks, including Police Check, Pre‐Employment Medical and Working with Children's check.
* Right to work in Australia (e.g., Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights).
