Senior Underground Mining Consultant
Every day brings new challenges as you manage projects across various commodities, geographies, and clients—from emerging miners to major industry players. You'll deliver top‐tier consulting services, collaborate with international experts, and lead teams to ensure projects are executed with excellence, within budget, and on schedule.
This role is based from either our Perth or Melbourne offices. Ad‐hoc travel to sites is a requirement of this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert technical advice and oversight.
* Assist with mining studies (scoping, pre‐feasibility & feasibility).
* Contribute to technical reports.
* Mentor staff and oversee project contractors.
* Drive business improvements and support business development activities.
* Prepare proposals and contracts.
* Work with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high‐quality projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in mining engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum 8+ years of underground mining experience.
* Proficiency in mine planning software (Deswik preferred).
* Ability to work independently or within teams.
* Strong financial management skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Consulting experience highly regarded.
* Legal work entitlement within Australia.
