We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping high-profile projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical installations, control systems, and instrumentation
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare BOQs and pricing
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive quotes and lead times
- Support bid submissions, client presentations, and contract negotiations
- Maintain and improve internal cost databases and estimation tools
- Contribute to project planning and risk assessment processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical estimating within mining, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of Australian standards, site compliance, and mine-spec requirements
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g. Expert Estimator, SimPRO, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and stakeholder communication skills
- Trade or engineering qualifications in electrical or instrumentation (preferred)
