The Role
The City is seeking an experienced Digital Advisor to lead and manage the development and delivery of digital services and systems within Cultural Development. The successful appointee will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the maintenance, upgrades, and standardization of digital systems to ensure consistent, efficient, and uninterrupted library and cultural services;
* Driving digital transformation by identifying emerging technologies for consideration to enhance service delivery and accessibility across all libraries and cultural facilities;
* Building the digital capacity of cultural facilities by providing training and expertise to staff;
* Managing the library and museum digital systems, including the Spydus integrated library management system and website ensuring the content is easily accessible to the community;
* Building relationships with external and internal suppliers, customers and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements in systems; and
* Contributing to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting an assisting colleagues to meet goals and deadlines
About You
As a collaborative member of the Cultural Development team, the position is accountable for managing the relationships with suppliers of software and computers across the cultural development team. The successful appointee must be an adaptable, experienced digital advisor. They must also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
* Qualification in relevant discipline or relevant experience
* Advanced experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology
* Advanced computing, numeracy and literacy skills
* Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
