Thales an Imperva Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team to assist in developing Imperva’s fast growing Account Takeover Protection and Client-Side Protection SAAS offerings.

Key Areas of Responsibility
* Take an active role in developing a near real-time system capable of processing large volumes of events across the world
* Solve challenging problems in terms of scalability, reliability and performance for SaaS products used by millions of users worldwide.
* Engage in development of an enterprise-level AWS based distributed SAAS solutions
* Lead a project from requirements to completion, through design, implementation & testing
* Utilize cloud technologies and modern programming and deployment practices
* Set the standards for the best practices and code quality
* Collaborate, demo and share your work with team members, product managers and stakeholders
* Take ownership of new technologies that would improve our products and infrastructure
Minimum Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* At least 5 years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python or RUST
* Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
* Experience with cloud-based software (preferably AWS) and microservice-based architecture
* Experience with designing and developing highly scalable SAAS systems
* Experience working with data analysis using distributed SQL/NoSQL DBs systems

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between
Total Target Cash (TTC): 115,032.69 - 156,728.04 - 196,247.29 CAD Annual
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills, and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity.
