Job Overview
Complete Staff Solutions is seeking a physically fit concrete labourer with an excavator SOA to join our busy local government client in the Liverpool area. The role will involve working on curbs, gutters and footpaths across the region.
Compensation & Hours
$40 per hour.
Hours: 6am - 3pm.
Reporting & Collaboration
Reporting to the Civil Works Team Leader, you will collaborate with an enthusiastic and close-knit team. You will carry out various labouring duties and civil maintenance tasks associated with civil infrastructure maintenance and construction (asphalting, drainage and concreting works) to maintain the civil infrastructure throughout the Liverpool area.
Responsibilities
* Operate a 3.5t excavator in accordance with safety regulations.
* Execute labouring tasks for curbs, gutters, and footpaths.
* Assist in concreting operations: pegging out, running loads, finishing, and leveling.
* Maintain civil infrastructure through asphalting, drainage, and concreting works.
Requirements
* Excavator SOA (operation of a 3.5t machine).
* Previous experience working with a concreting team; confident in pegging out, running loads, finishing, and leveling.
* Strong understanding of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles and relevant legislation.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with the public in high‐profile areas.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* White Card.
* Must be physically fit and display good communication skills.
Additional Requirements
* All applicants must hold a permanent resident of Australia visa; no temporary or working holiday visa.
