REQ653179 – Career Medical Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Manning Base Hospital

Flexible fixed term opportunities up to 24 months available.

Manning Base Hospital is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates with registration with the Medical Board of Australia, a minimum of two years' Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) experience, and the ability to manage a busy birthing unit with specialist support.

About The Role & Department

Join a dynamic and supportive team in a well‐established O&G department featuring:

* A busy birthing suite with approximately 650 deliveries per year
* After hours on call and weekend commitment is 1:4
* Comprehensive outpatient services:
o Antenatal Clinic (ANC)
o Gynaecology
o High‐Risk Obstetrics
o Colposcopy
* Surgical services including minimally invasive, open, and laparoscopic procedures
* Strong JMO support, including:
o Accredited Registrars / Rural Generalists
o SRMOs and RMOs
* Close collaboration with a well‐established Paediatrics Department, including a Special Care Nursery
* Academic links with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health
* Teaching opportunities for Years 3–5 (Joint Medical Program)
* Conjoint Academic appointments encouraged (commensurate with experience)

Senior Medical Recruitment & Medical Settlement Concierge Support
