Responsibilities
* Work full-time, on-site in a retail store on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade.
* Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email for customers.
* Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets, selling the whole holiday including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
* Build a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays and everything in between.
* Be the expert and assist customers with travel related questions including visas, best time of year to travel, what to pack, where to eat, what to avoid, and more.
* Enjoy a base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure where you earn a percentage of every sale.
Qualifications
* Great organisational skills – take notes, manage your calendar, and respond quickly to customer calls and emails.
* A genuine passion for travel and a desire to help open up the world to customers.
* Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs while balancing workload in a high‐pressure environment.
* Enthusiasm, passion and a warmth that makes customers want to book with you every time.
* Savviness with computers, able to toggle between various complex systems to find the right flight and package options for customers.
