Helping Hands Redbank Plains is seeking aninspiring and motivatedOSHC Assistant Coordinatorto join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you'll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.
This is apermanent, part-timerole (20 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday.
Service hours include:
* Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
* Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
* School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

About your new role
As an Assistant Coordinator, you'll help lead a team of passionate Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:
2. Design and help lead a vibrant, child‐centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
3. Assist withrosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration.
4. Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
5. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
6. Be supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager,so you're never doing it alone.
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
7. Completed or working towards aDiploma qualification in a relevant field, or at least two years of full-time study towards an ACECQA-approved qualification
8. National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
9. Availability Monday to Friday for before school and after school shifts
10. Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
11. Communicates clearly and confidently
12. Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
13. Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
