We're working with a well-established infrastructure business delivering inspection, assessment and remediation works across a range of critical assets throughout Southeast Queensland.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, the business is looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support a combination of field-based investigations, technical reporting and project delivery activities.
This role offers a strong balance between site and office work, providing exposure to complex infrastructure assets, real‐world condition assessments and practical engineering problem‐solving. You'll be involved across concrete and steel structures, supporting inspections, testing, defect investigations and remediation planning.
Responsibilities
* Undertake inspections and condition assessments across a range of infrastructure assets.
* Support investigation works including defect identification and deterioration assessments.
* Coordinate and interpret non‐destructive testing and site investigation activities.
* Prepare technical reports, defect assessments and remediation recommendations.
* Assist with repair methodologies, quantities and remediation planning.
* Provide engineering support during project delivery and construction activities.
* Support project coordination, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
* Work closely with operational and technical teams across active project sites.
Qualifications
* Degree‐qualified Civil, Structural or Materials Engineer.
* Experience within infrastructure, consulting, remediation or asset environments.
* Exposure to concrete, steel or infrastructure condition assessment projects.
* Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
* Practical mindset with an interest in site‐based engineering work.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
* Understanding of Australian Standards and construction methodologies.
