What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of engineering services across domestic and global clients. You’ll work closely with the Cyber Security Engineering Manager and broader cyber teams to implement and enhance security infrastructure, while contributing to high-quality outcomes.
* Contribute to the configuration, support, and enhancement of security infrastructure platforms
* Perform alert tuning, log analysis and incident handling in customer environments
* Assist with endpoint protection deployment and management
* Collaborate on implementation of customer-specific security projects and services
* Contribute to workflow design and automation across key security processes
* Deploy and manage SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability and endpoint management tools
* Maintain and improve documentation and internal tooling

What You’ll Bring
Essentials:
* Basic knowledge of networking, SIEM management, firewall management, and endpoint protection management
* Experience with alert triage and event investigation
* Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
* Sound application support and troubleshooting skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* A proactive mindset and willingness to collaborate across teams
Bonus Points
* Scripting in Python, Bash or using Unix-based tools
* Workflow design and automation of cyber processes
* Deployment and optimisation of SIEM and SOAR tools – such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, SentinelOne AI SIEM or HyperAutomation
* Vulnerability management platforms like Rapid7
* Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise/CI or similar development and automation tools
* Experience supporting enterprise security environments across both Windows and Linux platforms
