Intermediated Claims Consultant - Club Marine - Sydney

About the role
* Process all incoming insurance claims in accordance with legislative requirements.
* Provide timely and effective responses to customer enquiries.
* Develop customer relationships, understand customer requirements, and deliver a positive trusted customer experience.
* Deliver consistent and appropriate high level of customer service at all touch points.
* Act as primary point of contact for all claims related to our Dealer, Partner and Broker Clients, engaging a call cycle plan, arranging onsite/offsite visitations, and manage claims portfolio directly.
* Work with the state account manager to build and maintain strong, long‐term relationships with external partners through regular engagement.
* Attend any large loss events, catastrophe sites or any claimable events to directly liaise with all parties involved to deal with any incidents effectively.
* Represent the claims team at trade shows, workshops and local industry events in your state.
About you
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering a positive customer experience to sustain and enhance the customer base.
* Technical knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and associated legislation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision‐making capabilities.
* Ability to recognise, avert, manage, and escale conflicts.
* High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy.
* Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
* General knowledge of boats will be highly regarded.
* A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
