Kickstart Your Career in AFL

Are you looking to launch your career in the Australian Football League? We have a fantastic opportunity for recent school leavers who are passionate about sports and community engagement.

This traineeship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, industry knowledge, and the skills you need to succeed in the AFL.

* Gain valuable experience working with the AFL Game Development Team.
* Become an integral part of our team and contribute to the growth and participation of the sport throughout NSW and the ACT.
* Develop your skills in planning and delivering growth outcomes across key strategic areas.
* Support junior club Auskick centres with recruitment, volunteers, coaching, and promotion.

You will work closely with our experienced staff to deliver and lead a range of AFL programs in schools and community venues. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support for community football competitions, club development, and local football events.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow. If you are a team player with good communication, time management, and organizational skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.

This role is ideal for those who want to build a career they can be proud of. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated Employment Coach and mentor for First Nations candidates, gain valuable industry contacts, and receive a fully funded Certificate III in Business.


Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver and lead AFL programs in schools and community venues.
* Mentor and support new casual staff during onboarding.
* Communicate key messages with participants, parents, and schools.
* Liaise with teachers, schools, and stakeholders to identify and create new opportunities.

* Commitment to delivering high-quality programs.


Benefits:

* National Training Wage starting from $28,100 – $43,500 + 12% superannuation.
* Fully funded Certificate III in Business.
